PRIVACY POLICY FOR JOBMASTER APP

This privacy policy explains how Fujitsu New Zealand Limited (“we” or “us”) collects your personal information and how we manage and store your personal information in accordance with our obligations under the Privacy Act 2020 New Zealand (“Act”). Personal Information is defined under the Act as “information about an identifiable individual”.

The protection of your privacy in the processing of Personal Information is an important concern to which we pay special attention in the context of our business processes.

Our role as an app developer is to provide software to our licensed customers who are transportation companies (“Licensed Customers”). The app will be used to schedule job pick-up and delivery information for our Licensed Customers. We are not a transportation company. We will collect and have access to Personal Information in order to support our Licensed Customers, but we will not store your Personal Information.

Any Personal Information collected while using our app is handled confidentially and completely in accordance with New Zealand laws and regulations.

How we collect your Personal Information

We collect and process Personal Information and non- Personal Information about you.

The Personal Information we collect may include, but is not limited to:

• From the user of the app - we collect the driver’s name, driver number, location data and device identification. We will collect location data whenever the app is operating, and the Licensed Customers may require that the app is active whenever a driver is carrying out delivery services for them.
• When supporting the Licensed Customer - we may collect the name, address and signature of the sender or the receiver of the transported goods.

The Non-Personal Information we collect may include but is not limited to:

• cookies and other technologies that record data about the use of our app and the use of our services generally;
• device data, such as IP address, device type, operating system and, device manufacturer and model, language; and
• transaction data, such as job deliveries, photos, location for the purposes of delivering the transport jobs.

The purposes for which we collect, hold, use and disclose Information

We do not sell or rent data to marketers or third parties.

Your Personal Information will be used for the following purposes:

• for our Licensed Customers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries;
• assisting our Licensed Customers in responding to inquiries and sending service notices;
• auditing, regulatory purposes, and compliance with industry standards;
• developing new products and services;
• improving or modifying our services; and
• conducting aggregate analysis and developing business intelligence that allows us to operate, protect, make informed decisions, and report on the performance of our business.

We will use location data, both real time and historic, to:

• provide our Licenced Customers with information about driver location, and expected delivery times;
• assist with the scheduling of deliveries;
• improve customer service levels;
• improve resource management; and
• view, track and report on driver location and performance.

We will use Non-Personal Information in aggregate form to:

• track data such as the total number of app downloads;
• understand how our visitors use our app so that we can constantly improve and enhance our services.
• tailor our services and products; and
• measure and analyse the usage across our services.

Other reasons for processing your Personal Information include:

• ensuring compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, or professional requirements;
• responding to requests and communications from regulatory authorities;
• user relationship administration, internal compliance and risk procedures, and client relationship purposes; and
• utilising systems and applications (hosted or internal) for information technology and information system services.

When you download this app, you acknowledge and agree:

• your Personal Information will be shared with our Licensed Customers and third parties, who will assist us in operating the app or third parties who will improve the app;
• for our Licensed Customers and us to track your activity via the App Tracking Transparency APIs; and
• that location data will be provided to our Licensed Customers.

How we retain and store Personal and Non-Personal Information

All Personal and Non-Personal Information will be stored for a short period of time on the user’s phone, from the time the delivery order is placed until the delivery order is completed. The Licensed Customer may retain and store delivery information in their data base. We may access information about an order from our Licensed Customer's data base, then retain and store that information in our data base solely for the purpose of supporting our Licensed Customer.

When the purpose of the data is no longer relevant, the data shall be deleted or transformed into anonymous data for statistical, historical research and product and services development purposes. We will only retain data that is required by law.

Security

We put in place appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to ensure that your data is safe from tampering, loss, destruction, unauthorised access, or disclosure. Our security measures are constantly being improved to keep up with technological advancements.

Revocation of consent

You have the right to revoke your consent to the collection and use of your Personal Information at any time. You can do this by uninstalling the app.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective as of 20 October 2021 and will remain in effect, with the exception of any future changes to its provisions, which will take effect immediately after being posted. We reserve the right to change our privacy policies at any time. Any significant changes will be communicated to you. We will keep copies of previous privacy policies on file for future reference.
